University of Calif., San Francisco Selects Password Management Solution from Netwrix Corporation to Manage 17,000 Users
Paramus, N.J. -- November 20, 2007 -- Netwrix Corporation today announced that University of California, San Francisco has selected Netwrix Password Manager Solution to automate its password management activities. More than 100 administrators at UCSF drive IT activities daily, supporting almost 17,000 Windows and Mac users at more than a dozen different sites. The IT Department has recently implemented stronger password policies and eventually this created a lot of password incidents and increased support costs. Netwrix Password Manager allowed the University to minimize the number of password-related issues requiring attention of qualified IT personnel, significantly reduce costs, and gracefully implement the new password policy.
