Medical Center Clinic streamlines its audit processes by leveraging the visibility provided by Netwrix Auditor

Medical Center Clinic, based in Pensacola, Florida, U.S., has been providing coordinated healthcare across northwest Florida and south Alabama for almost 80 years. To adhere to HIPAA regulations, the clinic’s IT team has to maintain the security of all electronic medical records (EMRs). The ever–growing clinic already comprises several facilities and employs over 700 people, so the 10-person IT team was buried under loads of tasks and was eager to automate monitoring processes to improve data security. Failure to secure EMRs could cost Medical Center Clinic millions of dollars in fines for non-compliance with HIPAA and even result in its shutdown.
