Symptoms An account is locked after creating/changing multiple Netwrix scheduled tasks in:
  • Windows 7
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows Server 2008
Cause This issue occurs because the Task Scheduler service unnecessarily tries to register the task using a NULL password.

Once the account lockout threshold is reached, the user account is being locked.
Resolution This is a known issue related to the Task Scheduler service performance.

To resolve the issue,  refer to Microsoft HotfixAccount is incorrectly locked after you create or change multiple scheduled tasks in Windows 7, in Windows Server 2008 R2, in Windows Vista or in Windows Server 2008.
