How to manage a separate domain
|Question||How do you manage more than one domain with Netwrix Auditor for Active Directory|
|Answer||When attempting to add a second domain to a Netwrix Auditor install that is on a different domain the following must be true:
1) There must be a two way trust between the domains.
2) Netwrix Auditor 8.5 and older: The account you specify as the data processing account must be able to authenticate locally as well as have the proper permissions in the monitored domain. The reason the account must be able to authenticate locally is because this account is the account that is used to run the Windows Scheduled Task that kicks off the products collections. This is possible with a two way trust as stated in #1.
