How to get Database Content Audit working
KB1812 | Last review: Jan 14, 2014 | Netwrix Auditor for SQL Server | All
|Symptoms||You have enabled Database Content Audit in SQL Server Change Reporter (Data changes in Netwrix Auditor 9.0 and newer), configured as per our guide and do not get data in reports without any errors when you are sure some changes to data in a table were made.|
|Cause||The owner of the target database must have the "sysadmin" role on your SQL Server. It is needed for cross-database write.|
|Resolution||Please open MSSQL Management Console, connect to your SQL Server, select properties of the target database, pick an owner, then go to Security->Logins and grant that account with the sysadmin role.|
