Question You want to make the software not adjust audit settings automatically.
Answer For Netwrix Auditor 9.0 and newer:

1. Open the Monitoring Plan
2. Select the data source and double-click it or select "Edit data source" from the menu on the right

3. Scroll down to the Configure audit settings section and uncheck the option 'Adjust audit settings automatically'

4. Save changes

For Netwrix Auditor 8.5 and older:

You can turn off the "Adjust audit settings automatically" for the following systems:
  • Netwrix Auditor for Active Directory
  • Netwrix Auditor for Exchange
  • Netwrix Auditor for Group Policy
Select each of the systems and click the Configure button under the Advanced Options section

Uncheck the Adjust audit settings automatically box within each system and click OK

Note if you are only using 1 or 2 of these systems it will only be necessary (and possible) to uncheck this box in the systems which you are actively using in a Managed Object.
