Press Release: Netwrix Corporation Introduces Account Lockout Troubleshooting Technology Based on Windows PowerShell™
Paramus, NJ, Aug 17, 2007 - Netwrix Corporation announced today the release of Account Lockout Examiner for PowerShell, a set of Windows PowerShell cmdlets that lets administrators automate the detection and resolution of account lockouts. Administrators can now identify account lockouts, examine the most likely causes for account lockouts and unlock accounts directly from scripts developed using the product.
"The product provides a set of PowerShell cmdlets in order to simplify basic aspects of account lockout troubleshooting by leveraging Windows PowerShell," said Alex Vovk, CTO, Netwrix Corporation. "Armed with these cmdlets, administrators can automate the detection and resolution of account lockouts occurring in their environments."
The new product is based on existing technology used by Account Lockout Examiner, - the very popular product released half a year ago and currently helping hundreds of companies with their account lockout issues. The idea behind this technology is to eliminate all routine work related to the resolution of repeated account lockouts caused by stale credentials and forgotten passwords used in multiple places across networks.
