About the Webinar

The easy access, sharing and collaboration features offered by Microsoft 365 are a huge benefit for organizations that now rely on employees working from home — but those same capabilities are also a boon for malicious actors. Microsoft Teams is particularly vulnerable, because it offers not just video and chat but data sharing through SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business, which can result in higher than usual access permissions. An attacker with stolen user credentials can gain almost unfettered access to Teams and all of the supporting services.

In this session, Liam and Jeff review how your Teams environment can be compromised — and how you can defend yourself. By the end of this session, you’ll know:

  • The building blocks of Microsoft Teams
  • The security controls available to protect Microsoft Teams
  • What an attacker could do using a compromised user, owner or administrator account
  • How to identify and respond to unauthorized activity around sensitive documents
