About the Webinar

On March 1, 2017, New York Code Rules and Regulations 500 (NYCRR 500) established cybersecurity requirements for the Financial Services Industry (FSI) in New York.

NYCRR 500 requires that each covered entity have a cybersecurity program and a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Along with these two requirements within this regulatory compliance standards, which most entities have in place already, the regulation also mandates that each entity has access controls, asset management, data governance, sensitive data discovery, and an annual certification of compliance.

In this hour long webinar, Gabriel will cover:

  • What the requirements mean for financial institutions in New York
  • Where a data-centric approach can expand past compliance-based security
  • How STEALTHbits can help your company meet the requirements and achieve privacy by design and by default
